Sports Event RULES
- PURPOSE AND GOALS
1.1. Encourage Lithuania residents and guests to be physically active.
1.2. Promote a new format of ultra running.
1.3. Find the most motivated participants to help form a national team.
1.4. Spread cultural history and heritage, via sport events.
- PLACE AND TIME
2.1. Honeypot Ultra ” (BYU) will be held at Kūjagalviai vilage farm, Kaunas county.

2.3. Race date – 01 of May, 2025
2.4. The race will start precisely at 9:00 AM
2.5. Numbers and participant registration starts camp station at 7:00 AM and ends at 8:50 AM on race day.
- COMPETITION ORGANIZATION
3.1. The race is organized by ,,Rasvida“, MB (306639883) and Algis Pacevičius (LT2146320).
3.2. Judges of the competition – Vidas Totilas +370 687 20610, Algis Pacevičius +370 630 91330.
- PARTICIPANTS
4.1. Any participant above 18 years and older can participate in the race. Participant under 18 years old must have a written agreement signed by parents.
4.2. When applying for the race, the participants confirm they are responsible for their self well- being during the race and they do not object to the use of their personal data in the competition protocols, photographs, and video footage taken by the organizers during the competition for use in the public materials of the competition. All photos will be shared on social media and organizers site www.batuotasgarnys.lt and facebook group ,,Bėgimo namai“.
4.3. Participants are responsible for their own health and safety.
4.4. The organizers of the race event are not responsible for possible injuries of the participants during the event
4.5.Medical personnel will be provided at the base camp.
- RACE RULES AND EVALUATION
5.1. Honeypot Ultra ” (BYU) is an event in which the participants must cover 6.706 km every hour until there is only one member able to continue the race within the time limit of one hour.
5.2. After completing the lap, the participants can use the time to recover till the beginning of a new hour.
5.3. Each loop starts precisely at the top of the hour with the signal.
5.3.1. Any runner not in the starting area at the signal is eliminated.
5.3.2. All runners must start at the signal (no late starts).
5.3.3. Warning whistles will be given 3, 2, and 1 minutes prior to the start.
5.4. People who do not participate in the competition (including eliminated participants) are not allowed to be on the track.
5.5. There is no aid allowed on the course. Participants are not allowed to accept food, drink, pacing, or other things from their support or crewmember after they have crossed the starting line.
Aid is available at the race center only. Crew members and spectators are not allowed on the course during the race.
5.6. Each lap must be completed within 1 hour to be counted as completed (including the last lap).
5.7. Additional equipment is not allowed (including trekking poles).
5.8. The winner is the one, who completes the most complete laps.
5.9. If there is no runner who can complete 1 lap more than the other runners, then there is no race winner.
5.10. Mandatory equipment. Headlamp during the dark time of the day from sunset to sunrise and REFLECTIVE ELEMENTS.
5.11. Track surface (gravel/sand).
- CHECK-IN AND CAMPING
6.1. A site for tent camping is available to any runner in the race center.
6.2. The race center will be open at 5:00 PM, 30th of April.
6.3. Race numbers will be given on the morning of the event at 7:00 AM until 8:50 AM.
6.4. The organizers will provide a limited number of tents that can be used by the participants of the competition, where to put belongings.
6.5. Bathrooms and drinking water are available at the base camp.
- RESULTS AND PRIZES
7.1. A competition souvenir for each BYU participant.
7.2 Participants who complete the 24-hour challenge (160.944 km) will be additionally awarded a race souvenir.
7.4. Special prize will be given for the last standing lady.
7.5. A winner of the event will receive a competition prize, a souvenir, and a special prize.
- APPLICATIONS AND PARTICIPATION FEE
8.1. The participation fee for adults and a person under age 18 with prior registration and pay before 14.05.2025 is 30,- EUR.
8.2. Days after 14.05.2025 and registration on the day of the competition – 35,- EUR.

8.6. The participation fee is nonrefundable if the participant can’t attend or cancels their registration.
8.7. Participation fee can be transferred to another participant but can‘t be transferred to next year.
- FINANCING
8.1. ,,Rasvida“, MB and Algis Pacevičius covers the purchase of competition prizes.
8.2. The participation fees cover tea, fruit, and meals for the athletes in the evening stage.
8.3. Travel expenses are covered by the participants themselves or the commanding organization.
- RECOMMENDATION
9.1. Bring your own food and drinks, as well as a change of clothes and tents. Think of everything possible, which can help improve your comfort during and between laps.
9.2. Inform organizers about alergies if you have any.
9.3. The competition organizers confirm that personal data will not be transferred to third parties and will be used for competition purposes only.
